NoteI ride my Bicycle late at night for exercise when I saw the brightest object I ever seen in the sky. The streak was almost a 1/4 in. In width at the top, mid way down it exploded into a ball, about half the size of a full harvest moon. After this it maintain the same course, but was a little wider then when I first sighted object. I thought I heard 3 or 4 sonic booms, about 2 to 4 seconds after event. They were mild concussion’s. That short sound delay, would place it close to the coast. The sounds were low volume, and I wear hearing aids, almost on the level of pressure sensation and not hearing. I thought at the time that the sound could be my imagination. I dial 911, because I thought it might be a space launch that had gone wrong; that call is on my phone at 10:15pm, and a few minutes later I called channel 2 news. The explosion (burst) made me think it could be man made craft, and the speed was far slower then a meteor, but far faster then an airplane. My gut tells me it was man-made.

NoteHalf way through its decent, it seemed to slow and burst into a fuzzy ball, then continued on its same course. The fuzz I took as burning material. It was brighter then a full moon, but half the size.
