Note | I was looking across the block when I saw a bright white-ish ball "fall" downward like the end of a flare. I don't know if it burned out or disappeared behind trees in the distance. It was very bright, but I was alarmed because it was much bigger in size than all the meteors I saw this summer (Aug 13) in upstate NY, and had a ball shape. That evening it was hazy so it seemed like I was seeing it through a thin layer of fog or clouds, but I could still tell it was incredibly bright. It only lasted about 2 seconds. I told my husband when it happened but didn't think to report it until I saw on the news that a fireball was seen in TN on election night as well. |
