NoteThe object itself was fairly large and of an irregular shape, not circular or round. It was very close and appeared to have actually landed only several miles from my location. The object seemed to have disappeared just before making contact with the horizon. It was actively burning up and moving quite fast from my left and down to the right at a fairly sharp angle. It appeared to have had a smaller object ( fragment ) following close behind it. It didn't really have a very prominent or long trail. There was no visible track / smoke after it passed down into the horizon. It seemed to disappear just before landing. It seemed to have landed ( based on trajectory ) very close proximity, maybe 3 to 5 miles away.
